“Wicked” Nails

Hi All,

I’m back! I haven’t posted in SOOOO long, a month to be exact but I’m here now and so excited to show you my favorite nail color of the moment. I LOVE this polish by Essie. This shade is called “wicked” and it’s a dark, creamy, oxblood color. It’s perfect for the cold weather. It looks kind of burgundy-ish in the bottle but the color is actually quite dark when you do two shades. Despite the vampiness, you can still see the burgundy undertones. I love this color because you can still go dark without going completely black. This has definitely been one of my fav’s this season!

Dark Green Nails

I did my nails on Sunday and I LOVE this color! This is one of the new ones I bought from the Sinful Colors collection and it’s called “Calypso.” It’s a super dark green with a hint if blue in it. Since my skin is so pale now, it totally helps bring out my paleness. Lol.  It’s Tuesday and so far, no chips! I love the formula! it goes on super glossy and smooth

Slate Grey Nails

Hello there! I did my nails last night and I’m so obsessed with this color! It’s a dark slate grey-ish color with a hint of green. This is from the Kardashian Kolors Collection and it’s called “My Empire, My Rules.” I also used “Follow Me On Glitter” from the same collection for the grey sparkles on my ring finger. Love this look!

DIY Nails

Hello Loves! So as I sit here on my fourth glass of wine (it’s been a not so great day), what helps me relax is the fact that I get to “pamper” myself. What else fixes a crappy day better than drinking your favorite wine and doing your nails right? I’m having so much fun doing my nails myself because I can experiment with so many looks. This time I tried one of the new polishes I bought last weekend; Sinful Colors Gel Tech Collection in “Nouveau Purple” and I mixed it up with some sparkles (Sally Hansen “Golden Rule), and Essie polish in “Master Plan.” I then took a toothpick, dipped it in the dark polish, and made polka dots on my ring finger. I added sparkles for fun on my pointer finger. I don’t know how I feel yet about this look but it was just something random that popped up in my head ❤

Cobalt Nails

So today I decided to do something I haven’t done in sooooo long. I painted my own nails! I usually get my nails done, and when I do, I always get the shellac gel polish, which lasts for two weeks. While it’s nice to have nails that don’t chip for two weeks, I was getting bored and wanted to be able to change my nail color more often. I’m really terrible at doing my own nails so please, mind the sloppiness. I’m still getting used to this doing it myself thing.

I painted my nails with this clear base coat by Sally Hansen called “Clear’d for Takeoff” and then I painted four of my nails on each hand with two coats of Essie “Butler Please.” I wanted to do something fun, so I painted each ring finger with two coats of Sally Hansen “Golden Rule,” and topped all fingers off again with the clear coat. Let’s see how long this lasts! What do you think about cobalt colored nails?
